COVID-19 Update from Karpinski Engineering

Mar 23, 2020

The COVID-19 situation has rapidly changed our world. Karpinski Engineering has been monitoring the CDC and the Departments of Health in the states in which we reside for guidance through this unprecedented situation. Our primary goal is to provide a safe environment for our staff, clients, and neighbors.

Karpinski has implemented the recommendations of the CDC and Departments of Health, as well as these additional measures:

  • We have implemented a work from home policy. All staff, unless otherwise authorized, are now working remotely.
  • We have suspended all travel and are encouraging all meetings to take place virtually.
  • We are reviewing on-site client meetings on an individual basis, verifying they meet the guidelines in place by our firm, the CDC, the state Department of Health, and the entity requesting the on-site meeting.

Our team is continuing to work on all active design projects. We are communicating directly with our clients’ project managers for direction on client-specific policies regarding COVID-19. Like so many others, we have adopted tools for remote communication and collaboration so that we continue working together as a team, regardless of our physical location. I’m proud of how quickly our staff has been adapting to the new normal during this uncertain time.

Communication with our clients is very important to us. Please feel free to reach out to us at any time. If you do not have the contact information for one of our staff, you can send a message via our Contact page or leave a voicemail on our phone system (216-391-3700), and it will be forwarded to the person you need. You can also find email addresses for all principals, associates, office leaders, and department leaders on our Leadership page.

The situation remains fluid, and we will continue to adapt as it develops.

We hope all our clients and neighbors remain safe and healthy through this trying time.
