After voters approved a bond issue, Coventry Local Schools moved forward with the design and construction of a new high school. The facility will serve 700+ students in grades 9 – 12.
Fresh space for students to learn and play. The 125,000-SF high school includes classrooms, two gyms, music rooms, computer labs, art rooms plus a rooftop patio for art class, and a cafeteria that can be converted to a 600-seat auditorium.
The architectural design incorporates a wave motif, a tribute to the nearby Portage Lakes.
With its sustainable design features, the high school earned LEED Silver Certification.
