Bowling Green State University reinvented Moseley Hall, the campus’s original science building, for new generations of students and scientists.
Historic exterior meets modern interior. BGSU restored Moseley Hall’s historic exterior, while gutting and remodeling the interior. The building now houses laboratories and classrooms for chemistry, biology, medical laboratory science, forensics, and geology.
Flexible design supports dynamic instruction and changing technologies. Moseley Hall incorporates super-flex labs, which can be rearranged for different instructional approaches and space functions.
Sustainable design earns LEED Gold certification. Energy efficiency was a priority, and the KE team implemented energy-saving strategies for the laboratory exhaust systems and the lighting systems.
