KE Commissioning Continues to Grow
With 28 years in the construction industry, Darlene Diehl, LEED AP, has joined Karpinski Engineering as part of its commissioning team. No stranger to the world of mechanical systems and MEPT coordination, Darlene served as the MEPT Coordinator/Superintendant for two phases of renovation and expansion at the Cleveland Museum of Art. An intensive endeavor that spanned 12 years, the project not only added valuable experience to Darlene’s resume, but also gave her the opportunity to work with many of the firms involved in the project – including KE.
“One of the nice things about making a career in this industry is the network you develop along the way,” Diehl said. “Joining Karpinski Engineering was an easy decision, given that I had already worked with several members of its project team throughout the years.”
While KE’s commissioning team includes those with backgrounds in engineering, contracting, and testing and balancing, Diehl’s construction management experience adds valuable coordination capabilities. “Darlene is a great addition to our team,” said Lee Hodkey, Director of Construction Administration. “Her knowledge of the industry enhances our commissioning department.”
