Cuyahoga County HQ Demolition Starts

Demolition for the new Cuyahoga County headquarters has started, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer recently posted a gallery of the activity to its website. The new headquarters will be constructed on the site of the Huron and Prospect buildings, using existing building foundations. The County will lease space from property owner Geis Companies, who will also serve as architect and design-build contractor for the project.
Karpinski Engineering is providing MEP design for the building's core and shell and will design the building's security system. We're excited to work with both the County and Geis Companies. Similar high-rise projects KE has completed include Eaton Corporation's center in Beachwood, Ohio and Goodyear's Global and North American Headquarters in Akron, Ohio.
