Dennis J. Wessel, PE, Installed as ASHRAE Director-at-Large
Dennis J. Wessel, P.E., Fellow ASHRAE, Senior Vice President, Karpinski Engineering, Cleveland, Ohio, was installed as a Director-at-Large of ASHRAE at its 2012 Annual Conference held June 23-27.
As a Director-at-Large, Wessel serves on the ASHRAE Board of Directors and on Technology Council.
He also serves on TC 9.1, Large Building Air-Conditioning Systems (where he served twice as chair), TC 9.12, Tall Buildings (where he served as chair), and TC 9.6 Healthcare Facility Air-Conditioning Applications. Dennis is an ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award winner and his past service includes chair, Conferences and Expositions Committee; member, ASHRAE/AHRI Joint Exposition Policy Committee and Members Council; chair, Handbook Committee; Regional Vice Chair Membership Promotion; member, Nominating Committee.
Wessel received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (1972) from Cleveland State University where he was awarded Outstanding Engineer of the Year in 2004 and currently serves on the University Alumni Board.
