This year’s Chili Cook-Off was a win for Karpinski Engineering’s annual Harvest for Hunger campaign.
As our Cleveland office’s final fundraising event, the Cook-Off raised more than $2,000 for Harvest for Hunger. Because the Greater Cleveland Food Bank can provide 4 meals for every $1 raised, that’s the equivalent of 8,000+ meals. We couldn’t have done it without the generosity of our staff, as well as our Cook-Off sponsors:
Jim Gremba (Senior Project Manager, Technology) took the prize for best chili. While he modestly claims that his recipe was nothing special, the votes said otherwise.
Jim Gremba's winning chili...no leftovers!
At the Columbus office, the Chili Cook-Off was a continuation of their Operation Feed campaign. (Their Operation Feed Finale is Wednesday, April 27, at Buffalo Wild Wings…click the link for details.) Rachel Macedonia (Business Development and Marketing Coordinator) was the clear winner with her buffalo chicken chili.
