Construction Excellence Award for Seton Hill University Dance & Visual Arts Center

Seton Hill University Dance & Visual Arts Center

Congratulations to PJ Dick Incorporated, winner of the 2016 Master Builders’ Association of Western Pennsylvania Building Excellence Award for New Construction Between $10 and $25 Million

The project architect was designLAB Architects, and Karpinski Engineering provided MEPT engineering design.

The 46,000-SF building has a modern industrial feel, with large open spaces and exposed MEPT systems. It provides students gallery space, a performance theater, dance studios, metal and clay workshops, classrooms, and an outdoor “artyard.”

“This project team designed and constructed a great facility that impacts Seton Hill as well as downtown Greensburg,” said lead mechanical engineer James Dudt, PE, LEED AP BD+C. "I hope the Center will contribute to the continuing revitalization of West Otterman Street."
