Great Finish for KE Harvest for Hunger Campaign

Karpinski Engineering’s staff and supporters raised more than $5,500 this year for Cleveland’s Harvest for Hunger and Columbus’s Operation Feed.

From dress-down days to a chili cook-off and from volunteering at the foodbank to a silent auction, our staff participated in a variety of activities to support the cause.

The Cleveland office reached Harvest for Hunger’s Platinum Level for donations ($20,000 - $49,999 or $60 - $99 per employee). (Columbus-area Operation Feed has just wrapped up, so we haven't received the Columbus office's results yet.)

Overall, the region-wide 2015 Harvest for Hunger campaign set a new record: It will provide 19,306,245 meals to people in need.

Some quick math shows that’s like feeding 3,500 families of five for one full year. What a great achievement!

Giving Back to the Community

At the region's Harvest for Hunger kick-off in February, 2015 Harvest for Hunger co-chair Bernie Moreno commented that there is no greater responsibility of a citizen of a community than to give back to their community.

We’re grateful for all the members of the KE community who supported our campaign and, through it, our community!
