Associate Andy Dzienny was elected Vice Chairman of the City of Bay Village Planning Commission. As Vice Chairman, he serves as the mayor’s representative on the Commission.
Andy, a longtime resident of Bay Village considers this an opportunity to be involved with his community.
“I always volunteered at the schools and with coaching sports when my children were young. This is another avenue to be involved,” he said.
Andy served previously on the Commission for seven years, two as Chairman.
The Planning Commission is involved with reviewing and approving development projects in the City – in particular larger commercial projects, churches, schools, and other similar projects.
In Bay Village, where there are fewer new development projects, the Commission’s work touches more on projects that repurpose land and structures, Andy explained.
