LEEDŽ Certification

Are you thinking green? Do you want to achieve an environmentally "friendly" design solution? If your answer to these questions is yes, KE's LEEDŽ design team can help!

The LEEDŽ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification process emphasizes environmentally beneficial strategies that are used to develop energy efficient, sustainable buildings. KE has five LEEDŽ Accredited design professionals on staff that will help you assess your project's "green potential" and meet your sustainability goals.

LEEDŽ Certification cannot be obtained by any one member of a project team. The Owner, Architect, Engineers and Contractors must work together so that the many components of the LEEDŽ Certification process can be completed successfully. The performance of the mechanical and electrical systems is an integral part of this procedure.

During preliminary design, KE will evaluate potential mechanical and electrical system options in order to maximize the performance of the building's systems. By starting with a vision and set of goals, the entire team can use their collective imagination and creativity to develop realistic sustainable design goals. In addition, KE has the experience to facilitate the LEED™ related activities of all the team members and keep the team updated on the LEEDŽ Certification process.

"Green" systems do not automatically mean high costs. There are many practical, energy efficient, and sustainable design solutions that are economically feasible.

Allow our green team to be your best environmental friend and help you realize your sustainability goals!
