Toledo-based Libbey Glass has relocated its headquarters, and the glass manufacturing company recently held an open house displaying the results.
Karpinski Engineering provided MEPT services for the relocation project – a three-story, 52,000-SF renovation within the Toledo Edison Building located on the east bank of the Maumee River.
With an emphasis on creating a progressive environment while maintaining building character, the renovation included a multipurpose room, computer training rooms, huddle rooms, and casual meeting areas with flat-screen TVs for online access and presentations. The building accommodates approximately 425 employees, and office and team areas are designed for additional growth, flexibility, and occupant relocations.
The design team was responsible for the interior buildout and reworked existing building systems to service interior fitout spaces.
